Please review the current list of scholarships provided to persons and families affected with Sickle Cell Disease.
The Ohio Sickle Cell and Health Association (thereafter referred to as the OSCHA), as an agent of the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Sickle Cell Services Program, is committed to investing financial resources in individuals with Sickle Cell Disease and their families. Attendance and participation in educational conferences and events is one avenue to further the mission of OSCHA “Education, Advocacy, and Support to persons and families affected and at-risk for Sickle Cell Disease…” To this end, ODH and OSCHA have created the Empowerment Scholarship Fund. This Fund allows OSCHA to invest in individuals with Sickle Cell Disease and their families to enable them to attend and participate in educational events.
