All donors receive a free health screening ( American Red Cross screening will check the donor’s temperature, blood pressure pulse rate, and hemoglobin (iron) levels) prior to donating and can also participate in the American Red Cross Sickle Cell Trait Testing by indicating their correct race during enrollment.
